About Us
Refreshing...
Oasis Church is a place of spiritual refreshing where the ministry of the Holy Spirit is welcomed! We are hungry and thirsty for God's presence! We desire to see genuine revival and outpouring and we are ready to move with the Spirit of God as He leads. We believe in expressing our worship to the Lord. We encourage the gifts of the spirit, and believe in walking by faith, the power of prayer, and God's ability to heal and change lives.
Life-changing...
Oasis Church is a teaching church where believers will be equipped to live victorious, fruitful lives. Pastors Aaron and Melanie have over 20 years of pastoral experience and teach God's Word with clarity and boldness! Our services therefore will not be “lite”, but provide real spiritual food to grow on. The Word of God is the answer for every situation and is taught in fullness and power. If you want to grow spiritually, God's Word is the source!

As a church, we will hold high God’s Word as our standard. As a church, we will seek and desire the genuine move of the Holy Spirit. As a church, we understand people make up the church, therefore everyone is important. As a church, we will promote the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Word of God-We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, its validity and truthfulness the answer to the needs of all humankind.
Trinity-We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ- We believe that Jesus Christ is the greatest manifestation of God’s extravagant love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus is God, and He is both fully divine and fully human, the Son of God (Luke 1:26-38; John 14:1-3; Acts 2:36, 3:14, 15; Phil 2:5-12).
Salvation-We believe the only way to be saved is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and was raised for our justification. This salvation is entirely by the grace of our Lord and not of works. Works are excluded except as fruit of salvation (Acts 3:19, 20; Romans 4:1-5; 5:1; 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10).
(Acts 4:12; Rom 4:1-9, 25; 5:1-11; Eph 1:3-15).
Present Ministry of Jesus- We believe that the same Christ Jesus who walked the earth in His fleshly body has been raised from the dead and has ascended to the Father and is presently serving as head of the church on earth, bringing it to purity and maturity, and interceding for the saints (Luke 24:39-43; John 20:24-29; 14:1-6; Romans 8:34; Eph 4:11-13; Col 1:18; Phil 1:6; Rev 19:7-8).
Holy Spirit- We believe the Holy Spirit abides in and with us today, speaking to believers, bringing the gifts of the Spirit, signs and wonders to believers which confirm the proclaimed Word of God. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is for all believers as promised by John the Baptist (Mat 3:11), Jesus (Acts 1:4, 5, 8), and Peter (Acts 2:38-41) and as witnessed by the early disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:6).
Healing-We believe that healing for the physical body is provided in the atonement of Jesus Christ (Isa 53:5) and that God heals today. Although God can and does use doctors and medicine, divine healing is the privilege of every member of the body of Christ and may be appropriated by laying on of hands by elders (James 5:14-16) or by believers (Mark 16:18) or by a direct act of receiving this provision by faith (Mark 11:23).
Holy Living-We believe that believers should live righteous and holy lives before Him, growing in the fruits of the spirit, and to set standards of conduct that exalt our Lord and His Church. A life of holiness and obedience to God is not optional, but is commanded by Jesus and the apostles as a requirement for those who will enter the kingdom of God (Mat 7:21; 16:27; Rom 12:1-3; 2 Cor 6:17; Gal 6:14; Eph 5:11; Col 3:17; Rev 20:12). Holiness is not prerequisite to, but evidence of, salvation, and as such it is always present among those who are saved (Heb 12:14).
The Church-We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is a body of believers who have Jesus as their head; who assemble to worship, who carry forth the great commission, and who minister as the Holy Spirit leads (Mat 16:18, 28:19, 20; Acts 2:20-28; Eph 4:15; 5:22-32; I Tim 3:15).
Evangelism-We believe that the local church should have evangelism in the forefront of all its activities. The church should maintain an aggressive effort to take the message of Christ throughout the world by all means and methods. Every ministry of the church should reflects an evangelistic attitude.
Tithing-We believe Tithing is a worshipful recognition and honoring of God with our substance. It is the means that God uses to finance the preaching of the Gospel, the care of the Church, and helping the needy (Proverbs 3:9-10; Genesis 14:17-20; 1 Corinthians 9:7-14; Numbers 18:21; Deuteronomy 14:22-29).It is the responsibility of the Church to teach people to tithe, but it is the responsibility of the individual to obey. Tithing is a personal matter of faith between the individual and his Creator.
